Auer Dult adventures !

I was organizing my holiday photos when I came across these
I was thinking to post them a bit earlier but always something came up.
Auer Dult
is one of the oldest and biggest fairs is munich ,only three times
every year .
I manage to miss every time until this one

childrens theater (i'm not sure about the play )but I loved the paintings

where all the treasures hide !
 this is the spot where they sell vintage items , rare books etc.
I actually came across some great german editions.
A rare dickens for my collection and a very old book about german films
The book is so old that instead of prints has actual fim photos glued on the pages.
(I'm going to show a few pages on a later post )

Everything handmade from baskets to pottery to food and candies
Businesses that pass from one generation to an other. Most of these
people come here for more than 20 years
(I'm a bit jealous I must admit )

the first thing you see as you enter the market


and finally carousel. It doesn't have the vintage image that comes to mind
It's all about cars but it does have some magic.
All the images on top are hand painted with several fairytales.
the artwork is amazing.As they told me this is also one of the oldest atractions here.
kids where riding these 25 years ago !!!

And as all good adventures this one must close with a sweet
